Bible Verse: Genesis 21:1-2
1. And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
Message From Genesis 21:1-2
God said something to Sarah, and He visited her and did what He had said He would do for her.
There is a word for everyone. It may come in the form of a dream, a prophecy, a revelation, or just by reading the word of God. It is your responsibility to open your scripture and engage in that word. God honors His words, so He will visit you.
As soon as God visited Sarah, we saw the aftermath—she conceived at an age that is considered medically impossible. When God visits you, the evidence is always loud and clear. One important thing to note is that God’s help gives peace and joy. If it was God who helped you, you will be at peace!
Genesis 21:1-2 is about God’s promise and God’s timing. That is why it is important to ask God for things according to His will. If it is His will, it must reveal His glory, and it must end in victory for you.
This verse is not only applicable to the conception of babies. No! Remember, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. You can conceive of business ideas, spiritual fire for the things of God, and every other good thing of the spirit and of life.
Final words:
Find the word that concerns you and engage in it. What is important is that what you are ‘conceiving’ is in line with God’s will for your life. May the Lord visit you, bless you, and perfect all that concerns you.
